James S. "Jim" Meisinger was born on December 5, 1942 in Omaha, Nebraska to Harold and Theda (Kaffenberger) Meisinger. He passed away in Elmwood, Nebraska surrounded by family on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at the age of 66 years, 8 months and 10 days.

He is survived by his Children: Steven M. Meisinger of Lincoln, NE; Terry L. Meisinger and wife Kelly of Elmwood, NE; Grandchildren, Austin Meisinger of Elmwood, NE; Paige Dennis of Louisville, NE; Brother: Steve Meisinger and wife Verna of Louisville, NE; Sister: Marcia Holdridge and husband John of Plattsmouth, NE. Also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Martha Mesinger

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Plattsmouth, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 21, 2009 from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Plattsmouth, Nebraska.
