Janet McClean was born on August 13, 1937 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Otto and Irene (Schueth) Thoennes. She departed this life on Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at the Louisville Care Center in Louisville, Nebraska at the age of 71 years, 10 months and 10 days.

Janet was raised Cedar Rapids where she attended and graduated from the Immaculate Conception School. She spent many years of her life working as a computer specialist and bookkeeper. She was very proud of the computer skills that she had obtained over the years.

She is survived by her Children, Cheryl M. Larson, Omaha, NE; Tim (Connie)
McClean, Tampa, FL; Lori (Michael) Miller, Omaha, NE; Julie Martin,
6 Grandchildren, Tony Martin, Jennifer McClean, Jeremi Martin, KayCee Miller, Sarah Larson and Ben Larson. Brothers, Dick Thoennes of Cedar Rapids, IA; Dave
Thoennes of San Diego,California; Sister, Rosemarie Hall of Ocala, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son-in-law, Peter J. Larson.

A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held.

Memorials may be given to the Louisville Care Center in Louisville, Nebraska.
