Janet M. Twohig, 75 of Lincoln, formerly of Unadilla, passed away on August 25, 2022, at Bryan East Hospital in Lincoln. She was born on October 12, 1946, to Dale & May (Thomson) Lamb in Lincoln.

After graduating from Syracuse High School, she attended UNL and received her degree to become a medical transcriptionist. She worked as a transcriptionist for 40 years at Bryan Hospital and was proud of her job. Janet was an active member of the United Methodist Church Women's Group in Unadilla. She also belonged to FCE and book club. In her free time, she loved to get lost in a good book and spending time with her kids and grandkids.

She is survived by her children Angelique Twohig, Gabrielle Twohig, Noah (Heidi) Twohig; grandchildren Korben Twohig, Alexander Estell (Victoria Welsh), Sofia, Liam & Finley Twohig; great grandchildren Ellinna, Neveya & Theodore Estell; sister Deanna Lamb; nephew Graham Snyder.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Unadilla United Methodist Church. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Rosewood Cemetery in Palmyra.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
