Janice L. Bokamper, age 68 of Syracuse, passed away on Friday December 19, 2014 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. She was born on June 24, 1946 in Nebraska City to Virgil & Ernestine (Griepenstroh) Henke.

Janice married Ed Bokamper on April 12, 1973 in Omaha, NE. She worked as a Dietitian in hospitals and nursing homes. Janice enjoyed belonging to book clubs and taking trips.

Janice is survived by her Husband Ed of Syracuse, Children: Paula Bokamper of Houston, TX, Dan (Kim) Bokamper of Lincoln, NE, Deborah (Bob) Epps of Ft. Worth, TX, Lois (Paul) Holz of Aurora, CO, Sondra (David) Davidson of Blair, NE, 8 Grandchildren, Brother: Dean Henke & special friend Sharon Wieneke.

She was preceded in death by her Parents.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday December 23 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

The family suggests memorials to the family's choice.

Visitation will be held on Monday December 22 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
