Janice Marie Brockhoff was born on August 9, 1932 in Lincoln, NE to Henry Brinkman and Leta (Reimer) Brinkman. She passed away on Monday April 9, 2012 in Lincoln, NE.

She was brought into God's family through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on September 11, 1932 at Trinity Lutheran Church Walton, NE. She then renewed her baptismal vow and confirmed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ on March 25, 1945.

Janice married on September 24, 1954 to Harvey Brockhoff at Trinity Lutheran Church in rural Walton, NE. After their marriage they lived on a farm at Weeping Water, NE. They moved to Bennet, NE, in 1960. Their marriage was blessed with two sons, Rick and Randy.

Janice was a Member at Trinity Lutheran Church and was also a Trinity Prayer Chain member and former Church Choir Member. She was also a member of Legion Auxiliary Post #280.

She is survived by her Sons: Rick and daughter-in-law Sue Brockhoff of Lincoln, NE, Randy Brockhoff of Bennet, NE, Granddaughter: Jenna and Capt. Cale Farquhar of St. Robert, MO, Brother-in-law & Sister-in-law Ken & Elaine Hild of Cook, NE, Brother-in-law Clemet Cheney of Bennet, NE, Nieces, Nephews and cousins and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey, father Henry Brinkman, mother Leta (Reimer) Brinkman and Sister Alene Cheney.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday April 13, 2012 at 10 A.M. at Trinity Lutheran Church 162nd & Old Cheney in Walton, NE. Burial will be at the Bennet Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 12, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. all at the Funeral Home.

The family suggests memorials to the Trinity Lutheran Church.
