Janice C. Reuter, 71 of Lincoln, passed away on August 5, 2026, at The Grace Space in Lincoln. She was born on August 9, 1954, in Denison, Iowa, to Edward L. and Mildred D. (Reeves) Meyers. Janice graduated from Milford High School.

On January 8, 1993, she was united in marriage to Ronald L. Reuter in Lincoln. She worked for 15 years in the claims department at Walmart/Sam’s Club and previously worked in various cafés. Janice had a deep love for animals and quilting and was known for being a wonderful cook.

She is survived by her husband Ronald L. Reuter; children Jami Jo (Ron) Thompson, Christina (Larry) Chapman, Todd (Amy) Reuter; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; siblings Bonita Cole, Paula Meyers, John Meyers, David Meyers and Philip Meyers; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; stepson Scott Reuter; siblings Vernon Cole, Ronald Cole, Lewis Meyers, Edward Meyers, Eldon Cole and Vicky Meyers.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 15 at 12:30 p.m. at the Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to The Grace Space.
