Jean Elizabeth Barnhart was born September 2, 1947, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Elmer and Eileen (Sutton) Sprieck. She died Thursday, September 5, 2019 at the Hillcrest Grand Lodge in Papillion, Nebraska at the age of 72 years, and 3 days.

Jeanie was raised on a farm near Louisville, Nebraska and attended Louisville High School, and was a member of the class of 1965 and married Ronald Barnhart at First Trinity Lutheran Church in Papillion, Nebraska on January 16, 1965 and to this union they raised two daughters Robin and Renae.

Jeanie is survived by her husband Ronald Barnhart, of Louisville, Nebraska, daughters Robin M. Steinke (Barry Robeson), of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and Renae J. Keefer (Bob "Bobby" Smisek), of Papillion, Nebraska, grandchildren Alex Steinke, of Central City, Nebraska, Macaela (Josh) Stuart, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska, Amanda and Dylan Keefer, of Papillion, Nebraska, great grandchildren, Isabella and Lucas Stuart.

Jeanie is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Eileen Sprieck and her sister Ruth Ann Phelan.

Private family services were held and the family suggest memorials to "The Alzheimer's Association"
