Jeffrey "Jeff" Dean Erhart, age 56 of Syracuse, NE unexpectedly passed away at home on July 16, 2024. He was born on January 24, 1968, to Larry & Suzanne (Thoms) Erhart at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital and graduated from Syracuse High School in the class of 1986.

Jeff dedicated his career as an operator and supervisor at the pharmaceutical company Haleon US Inc., taking immense pride in his work. His passion for baseball began in T-Ball and evolved into a lifelong love as a diehard Chicago Cubs fan. He played Legion Baseball and cherished the memory of the year his team narrowly missed advancing to state by just one game.

Jeff's family was central to his life. He was known for finding unique cards and giving the most thoughtful gifts, always showing how much he cared.

He is survived by his parents, Larry and Suzanne Erhart of Lincoln, NE, and brother Matthew and friend Rebecca Sturdevant of Lakewood, CO.

Funeral Mass will be at St. Paulinus Catholic Church, Syracuse, NE at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 20th, 2024. The service will be livestreamed on the St. Paulinus Facebook page.
