Jeffrey "Jeff" M. Vidra, 73, of Lincoln, passed away on April 25th, 2025, at his home. He was born on October 29th, 1951, in Brooklyn, NY, to George & Marilyn Vidra. Jeff married Marlene (Gartner) Lehl on June 28th, 2008, in Lincoln.
He devoted his professional life to helping others as a Mental Health Practitioner, operating his own counseling office, Jeff Vidra Counseling. Jeff was a member of Lincoln Berean Church and the American Association of Christian Counselors. He was also involved in a small men's prayer group and spent countless hours reading the Bible, writing worship songs, and praying. Jeff found joy in gardening and especially loved riding his bike to Holmes Lake.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Marlene; stepson Harris Lehl; stepdaughters Hannah Ahlstedt and Laura (Kevin) Sypal, all of Lincoln; and nine step-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Nancy Zolan; nephew Craig (Kerry) Zolan and their daughter Sarah, all of New Jersey; niece Dana (Jeff) McIntire of South Carolina; brother-in-law Gary (Gloria) Gartner; and many loving cousins and cousins-in-law.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law Ira Zolan; father-in-law and mother-in-law Randall and Mary Gartner; brother-in-law Galen Gartner; and sister-in-law Nancy Petersen.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Lincoln Berean Church. The service will be livestreamed at www.lincolnberean.org/funerallive. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church. He will be laid to rest at the Hopewell Cemetery south of Unadilla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Lincoln Berean Church.
