Jerry C. Vollertsen, 67 of Syracuse, passed away on October 19, 2018 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. He was born on April 25, 1951 to Melvin & IvaDell (Holscher) Vollertsen in Nebraska City, NE.

Jerry married Terry Railsback on May 26, 1976 in Syracuse. He was part owner of J&S Floors in Syracuse for over 40 years. Jerry loved to fish and took fishing trips to Canada and Alaska.

He is survived by his Siblings: Carol (LeRoy) Carlson of Syracuse, Marilyn (Larry) Nelson of Payson, AZ, Steve Vollertsen of Syracuse; Sister-in-law: Sharon Vollertsen of Syracuse; Aunt & Uncle: Claron & Greta Holscher of Cook; Special Friend: Pat Kempkes of Lincoln; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife: Terry and brother: Roger Vollertsen.

Memorials services will be held on Friday, October 26 at 1:30 P.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse. Private family burial will be held at Park Hill Cemetery.

Friends may sign the register book from 9 A.M. until 5 P.M. on Thursday, October 25 at the funeral home. No viewing.
