Jessica Diane (Kassebaum) Kloeckner, 33, of South Bend, Nebraska, formerly of Lincoln, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2022, at her home in South Bend. Jessica was born to Brian and Terri (Peet) Kassebaum May 26, 1989, in Lincoln, Nebraska.

In 2007, Jessica graduated from Lincoln North Star and later joined the 313 ^th Medical Division of the Nebraska Army National Guard. She married her best friend, Peter Kloeckner, at Platte River State Park on June 7, 2015. Together they raised their family including step-daughter Hayley, and sons Gabriel, Jaxson, Joseph John.

Her first love was her family, and she cherished the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom. She felt it was so important to spend quality time with her family and close friends.

Jessica was an avid crafter, loving to quilt and crochet. She loved this so much she started an online business called Mama Bears Yarn Art, making custom, handmade items for others. In addition to quilting and crocheting, Jessica had a love for horses and archery.

Jessica is survived by her husband, Peter, step-daughter Hayley Kloeckner, sons Gabriel, Jaxson, Joseph John, parents Brian and Terri Kassebaum, and Joseph and Heidi Kloeckner sisters Jennifer (Jason) Deppe, Gina Kassebaum, brother Eric (Fiancé Kaitlynne Ellis) Kassebaum, Grandma Paula Peet, and Uncle Brian Peet.

Preceding her in death are her Grandpa Gene Peet, grandparents Grandpa Jack and Grandma Kay Kassebaum, and Nancy Kassebaum.

A Graveside Service will be held at the Omaha National Cemetery on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 11:00 AM

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, December 30 ^th , 2022 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the Louisville Senior Center.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
