Jessie A. Liles age 88 of Springfield, Nebraska passed away surrounded by her family on Friday, June 24, 2022 at her home near Springfield, Nebraska.  She was born on November 3, 1933 in Omaha, Nebraska to Theodore and Velma (Wagner) Moffitt.

On April 13, 1952, she was united in marriage to Ralph Liles at the Methodist Church in Ashland, Nebraska.  Together the shared 69 years of marriage.  Jessie was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, and shared her love of Jesus Christ with others.

She is survived by her Children Daryl (Deborah) Liles of Longview, TX, Gail (David) Carlson of Springfield, NE, Mark (Cynthia) Liles of Oklahoma City, OK, Linda (Clayton) Ham of Papillion, NE, Karen (David) Kroft of Omaha, NE, brother Jerry (Jane) Moffitt of West Point, NE; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, a great great grandchild and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Ralph Liles, brother Thomas Moffitt, Sister, LaVona Evans, grandson-in-law, Kyle Ficek.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022  at 11:00 A.M. at the Westwood Heights Baptist Church in Omaha. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service at the church.

A private family burial will take place at the Omaha National Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to the Open Door Mission in Omaha, Nebraska.
