JoAnn "Jody" Clark, 91 of Syracuse, widow of Norman D. Clark, loving mother, grandmother & great grandmother, died January 18, 2018.  She was born in the family home in Unadilla on November 27, 1926 to William & Blanche (Butler) Hahne.

She graduated from the Unadilla High School in 1943. Jody married Norman Clark on September 25, 1945 at the Paisley Country Church, after his return from the service. She was a stay at home mom with 3 sons: Bradley, Scott & Mark and also helped with the family business. Jody lived her whole life in Unadilla, enjoying her friends, the community and her church.

She was a member of the Unadilla United Methodist Church for more than 70 years. She was also a member of the American Legion Aux. for 49 years. She held various offices, but the music of the church was very special to her. She started by singing in the senior choir many years ago, then went on to be co-leader of the junior & senior choirs for 30 years. Jody also sang in a quartet with very dear friends and then as a duet, singing at many funerals.

She and Norman celebrated their 50 ^th anniversary in 1995. He passed away in 1999. Her family was very important to her and she looked forward to being with them at all the birthday and holiday gatherings.

Jody is survived by her sons: Bradley (Sharon) Clark, Scott (deceased) & Barb Clark, Mark (Amy) Clark; grandchildren & great grandchildren: Lori (Tyler) Zahn & McKenna, Jake, Logan and Olivia, Lisa (Tim) Wurtele & Sam and Charles, Joshua (Amy) Clark & Jackson, Luke and Katelyn, Hilary (Andy) Seelhoff & Reed, Rylee and Rorie, Robert Clark & Ian; also many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Katie Putnam & Jeanette Maher.

Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, January 24 at 11:00 A.M. at the Unadilla United Methodist Church. No visitation.

Memorials are suggested to the Good Samaritan Society-Syracuse, Unadilla United Methodist Church or the Syracuse American Legion Aux.
