Jodi Lynn Abbott, age 61, of Louisville, NE, peacefully passed away at her home in Louisville on September 14, 2023. She was born on February 8, 1962, in Nebraska City, NE, to Paul Stephen Wiles and Connie Gail Peck.

Jodi grew up in Louisville and graduated from Louisville High School in 1980.  Shortly after graduation she was married to the love of her life Roger Abbott on June 14, 1980, at the Methodist Church in Louisville. Together, they shared a life filled with love and cherished memories.

Jodi dedicated her life to nurturing others as an in-home daycare provider and as a receptionist at the Physicians Clinic in Louisville. She had a heart of gold and was known for her unwavering commitment to her family, church, and community.

Jodi was a member of Faith Missionary Church and found immense joy in spending time with her cherished grandchildren, indulging in knitting and crocheting, and selflessly supporting church and non-profit organizations. She had a passion for cooking, hosting family events, and solving challenging jigsaw puzzles.

Jodi is survived by her loving husband, Roger Abbott of Louisville, and their children: Brian (Jennie) Abbott of Cedar Creek, Roger Abbott of Louisville, Jesse (Brieanne) Abbott of Louisville, and nine adoring grandchildren: Brady, Tucker, Lucy, Henry, Claire, Peyton, Gracie, Tucker, and Joey. She is also survived by her parents, Paul and Connie Wiles of Louisville, sister Lori Wiles of Papillion, and numerous cousins, an uncle and friends.

A service to celebrate Jodi's life will be held on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 11:00 AM at the Faith Missionary Church in Weeping Water, NE with burial following in Glendale Cemetery in rural Louisville.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 17, 2023 from 1 – 8 PM at the Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Louisville, with family present to greet friends from 6-8 pm.

Memorials are suggested to the Faith Missionary Church or to St. Judes.
