John Louis Henson age 76 of Louisville, Nebraska passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Select Specialty Hospital in Omaha, Nebraska.  He was born on August 9, 1946 in Mount Grove, Missouri to Ermon Kenneth and Helen Vernon (Hall) Henson.

John worked for many years for Prawl Engineering installing duct work on projects such as the Lied Jungle in the Omaha Zoo.  He spent his summers working landscaping projects and enjoying nature.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors, fishing, traveling to the Wildlife Safari and watching birds from his window while living at the Louisville Care Center.  He had a love for old western movies and greater love for his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his children, Jennifer (Shane) Henson of South Carolina, Matthew Henson of Massachusetts, Nona (Shona) Rich of South Carolina, grandchildren, Randi Jo Saturley, Makenna Henson, Katlin Jones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, granddaughter, Kaylee Henson, 3 brothers.

A private service was held.
