John Junior Lingle, 88 of Otoe, passed away June 25, 2017 at the Ambassador in Nebraska City. He was born on May 22, 1929 to John & Emma (Neumeister) Lingle in Talmage.

Junior married Delores Ann Lockman on April 26, 1950 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. He was a farmer and also worked as a carpenter. He was a member of the fire dept. and served on the town council in Otoe. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and wood working.

Junior is survived by his Son: Steve (Barbara) Lingle of Weeping Water; Grandson: Aaron (Amanda) and Great Granddaughters: Paige, Reese & Kylie Lingle of Springfield, NE; Special Friend: Joann Sauberzweig of Otoe; also nieces, nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife and Sister & Brother-in-law: Eva Mae & Maynard Rippe.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. Burial will be in the Avoca cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
