John C. Ziers was born, April 25, 1950 to David F. and Luella (Gakemeier) Ziers, in Omaha, Nebraska. He passed away on December 10, 2015 at the V.A. Medical Center in Des Moines Iowa, at the age of 65 years, 7 months, and 15 days.

John confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church, graduated from Louisville Public School, and attended Peru State College, served in the United States Air Force, Army, and Marines. He worked for the sand pits in Ashland, United States Post Office, and at the United States Army Fitzsimmons General Hospital, Denver, Colorado.

Near Relatives Surviving are his sisters Julie (Rich) Wollen, of Omaha, NE, Gazie Carstens, of Omaha, NE, Elizabeth Ziers, of Albuquerque, NM and Sharon (George) Ziers-Roberds, of Lincoln, NE, along with nieces, nephews, great nieces, cousins and friends.

Memorial service will be 2:00 P.M. on Monday, January 4th, 2016 at the Fusselman Allen Harvey funeral chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, Nebraska, with burial at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, Louisville, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation .
