Joseph Ray Dickey was born on October 11, 1998 in Papillion, Nebraska to Wes and Bobbie (Deloske) Dickey. He died at his home on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the age of 21 years, 8 months and 7 days.
He is survived by his parents Wes and Bobbie and brothers Skyler and Blake, grandma Roxanne Deloske, grandma Beth Lydon, grandfather John Dickey, aunts Jenny (Allen) Simmons, Brandi Deloske (Chad Pierson), and Ashley (Trent) Buck, aunt Jill (Ryan) Domnick, uncle Josh (Wendy) Dickey, along with many cousins and friends.
Joe graduated from Louisville High School in 2017. He participated and excelled in many areas of school and sports. He was involved in Football, One Act, Trap Shooting. He participated in the Nebraska State Wrestling Tournament, One Act State Competition as well as the State Football playoffs. In Boy Scouts, Joe earned the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout. Following High School, he attended Southeast Community College and received an Associate's Degree in Welding. Currently, Joe was working as a welder for Concrete Industries. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing video games and being with family and friends. Joe was a fun-loving, polite young man who was well-loved by many.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather Robert Deloske.
A memorial account has been established at Pinnacle Bank - Louisville for the family of Joe Dickey.
VISITATION: Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at Cass County Fairgrounds, 144 th Street and Highway 1 from 1-9 PM with Family present from 5-6 PM. Personal Protective Equipment is recommended. All State Guidelines will be followed.
SERVICES: Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Cass County Fairgrounds 144th and Highway 1, Weeping Water, Nebraska. Personal Protective Equipment is recommended. All State Guidelines will be followed. ( Before the actual service begins, there will be a time for anyone to share a memory of Joe's life)
