Joyce E. Gaebel

Joyce E. Gaebel was born, January 22, 1928 at her home in Ashland, Nebraska to Robert and Esther (Schmidt) Stock. She passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Papillion Manor at the age of 90 years, 9 months, and 21 days.

Joyce married Lee Rau Gaebel on May 1, 1949, at the Callahan E.U.B. Church, Murdock, Nebraska, and to this union they raised 4 children Terry, Ricky, Gary, and Jody. She worked at Murdock School for over 20 years and also a busy housewife on the farm.

Joyce is survived by her sons Terry (Jacque), of Elkhorn, NE, Ricky (Kristin) of Omaha, NE, Gary (Laura), Murdock, NE, daughter Jody (Steve) Mains, of Omaha, NE, 10 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Joyce is preceded in death by her husband Lee Rau, parents Robert and Esther Stock, brothers Arlo Stock and Richard Stock.

Visitation will be Saturday, November 17 ^th from 12 until 9 P.M. and Sunday, November 18 ^th from 12 until 9 P.M. and the family will greet friends from 5-7 P.M. all at the funeral home.
