Judy Marie Bailey was born on November 15, 1940 in Columbus, Nebraska to Edward and Reba (Mueller) Schleicher. She passed away on Thursday, January 14, 2010 at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, Nebraska.

Judy was raised in the Columbus area and attended school there. She later met and was married to Ward Bailey on May 23, 1959 in Plattsmouth, Nebraska. Judy enjoyed sewing, watching football, hunting, fishing and dinner with her family at Keno. Her role as a wife and mother was greatest job she ever had.

She is survived by her Husband: Ward Bailey of Plattsmouth, NE; Children: Ed Bailey of Union, NE; Melanie Lotspeich of Osceola, NE; Ward "Chip" Bailey, Jr. of Plattsmouth, NE; Tammy Bailey of Auburn, NE; Sister: Darlene Hughes of Columbus, NE. 13 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Edward & Reba Schleicher and in-laws: Claude & Edith Bailey

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 18, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Plattsmouth, Nebraska with Rev. Raymond Wicks officiating.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 17, 2010 from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 1:00 – 4:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Interment will be in the Guide Rock Cemetery in Guide Rock, Nebraska at 3:00 P.M. on Monday, January 18th.
