Junius A. Koch was born on June 20, 1922 in Otoe, Nebraska to Dick and Bertha (Rueter) Koch. He passed away on June 07, 2011 in Lincoln, Nebraska at the age of 88 years, 11 months and 17 days.

Junius married Norma Rottman on June 21, 1945 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe. To this union they raised 6 children Sharyl, Daryl, Denver, Pamela, Lyle, and Bradley.

Junius worked at Gartner Constructiona and also as a farmer. He was involved in the American Legion for 45 years. He also enjoyed woodworking, playing cards, and tomato gardening.

Junius is survived by his children Sharyl & husband Dale Friesen of DeWitt, NE, Daryl & wife Karen Koch of Mesa, AZ, Denver & wife Linda Koch of Murdock, NE, Pamela & husband Frank Kucirek of Omaha, NE, Lyle Koch of Lincoln, NE, Bradley & wife Mary Koch of Crete, NE, 15 Grandchildren, 23 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Granddaughter.

He preceded in death by his parents and wife Norma in 2004.

Funeral Services for Junius will be Saturday June 11 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, Nebraska.

Burial will be at Otoe Cemetery.

Family suggests memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church or Family's Choice.

Visitation will be Friday June 10, from 5 P.M. until 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6 until 7 P.M.
