Jyrad Everett Arthur Allen, age 46, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025, at his home in Omaha, NE. He was born on Monday, September 25, 1978, in Alliance, Nebraska to Bernard L. and Marlene J. (Clark) Allen.

Jyrad was a graduate of Platteview High School, Class of 1997, after which he pursued studies at Business College. He embarked on his career at the early age of 16, working at McDonald's in various roles, displaying a remarkable work ethic and commitment. Later, he worked as a maintenance technician, providing general maintenance for apartment complexes, earning the respect and friendship of colleagues and residents alike.

A man of diverse passions and generosity, Jyrad deeply loved his dogs, Missy and Nutmeg, who were his constant companions. He relished the thrill of the open road on his Harley, particularly enjoying trips to Sturgis. Traveling and playing video games were among Jyrad's beloved pastimes, but his greatest joy was always found in the company of his family and friends. Saturday suppers at Godfather's Pizza were a time-honored family tradition that he treasured.

Jyrad is survived by his parents, Bernard and Marlene Allen of Springfield, NE; his sister, Doii Tomasello, and her husband Matthew of Springfield, NE; and his nieces and nephew, BreAnna Bloomquist and her husband Tucker, along with their children, Kanan and Zelda, and Taytum, Kolbee, and Kooper Tomasello. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a wide circle of friends whose lives he touched over the years.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 25th, 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Ashland Kingdom Hall - 1833 Furnas St. Ashland, NE, 68003.

A luncheon will be held immediately after (2:30-7:00 PM) at the Ashland Library - 1324 Silver St.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
