Karen L. Salberg was born June 17
th, 1935 in Louisville NE to Robert and Tressie (Bickford) Gess. She left us on Saturday, November 10th 2012 at Midlands Hospital in Papillion, NE. She reached the age of 77 years, 4 months, and 24 days.

Karen married Chris Salberg on September 4th, 1955 at the First United Methodist Church in Louisville NE. To this union were born two sons, Jeff and Chris.
She was a proud coach's wife and all that goes with that. She was a member of Royal Neighbors and enjoyed following her grandchildren around with their activities.


Karen is survived by her husband Chris Salberg, of Springfield, NE sons Jeff (Peggy) Salberg, of Gretna, NE & Chris (Michelle) Salberg, of Sterling, NE, grandchildren Samantha (Bruce) Maynard, of Corpis Cristi, TX, Clay Salberg, of Springfield, NE, Chad (Samantha) Deloske, Carrie Deloske, of Gretna, NE Kharisa Salberg, of Peru, NE, Jese Salberg, of Garland, NE, Brielle Salberg, of Sterling, NE, 4 great grandchildren, sister Melva (Dean) Wulf, of Blair, NE, along with many friends.

Karen is preceded in death by her parents Robert & Tressie (Bickford) Gess, and 2 brothers Bobby and Billy Gess

Memorial Service will be Wednesday, November 14, 2012, at 11:00 A.M. at First United Methodist Church, 480 Main Street, Springfield, NE. Family Suggests Memorials to The Springfield Fire Department or First United Methodist Church

VISITATION will be Tuesday, November 13th 2012, from 1:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. all at the Funeral Home 413 Elm, Louisville, NE.
