Karen L. Schwartman, 61 of Unadilla, passed away on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Bryan West hospital in Lincoln. She was born on November 28, 1956 to Darrell & Lillie (Stotts) Bomberger in Lincoln.

Karen married John Schwartman on March 8, 1975 in Lincoln. She was an active member and treasurer of the Unadilla Christian Church and member of the Women's Circle. Karen organized a family reunion every year and loved to take care of her family and friends.

She is survived by her Husband: John Schwartman; Daughter: Christina Long (Marvin Vodicka); Grandson: Jordan Long; Siblings: Lillie (Jim) Wells, Duane (Jane) Bomberger, Sharon Coon, Mike (Cheryl) Bomberger; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Allen & Doug Bomberger.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 4 at 10:30 A.M. at the Unadilla Christian Church in Unadilla, NE.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 3 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
