Kenneth "Kenny" F. Kruse, 75 of Syracuse, passed away July 13, 2017 at his home. He was born on November 14, 1941 to Joy & Mabel (Wellman) Kruse in Nebraska City.

Kenny married Sharon Earl on July 11, 1965 at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse. He served in the Army reserves from 1963-1969. Early on he co-owned Peterson & Kruse Masonry Construction, but the majority of his life was spent farming & ranching. Kenny served on the St. John's UCC church council and Nebraska Farm Bureau. He also enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his Wife: Sharon (Earl) Kruse of Syracuse; Children: Seth (Tammy) Kruse and children: Tanner & Jacob of Syracuse, Shannon (Doyle) Brunssen and children: Lindsay, Zachary & Madeline of Waverly, Brenda (Rich) Hillman and children: Ethan, Mitchel & Abigail of Omaha, Bret (Stephanie) Kruse and children: Natalie & Levi of Syracuse; Sister: Shirley Dettmer of Syracuse; Aunts: Veona Kruse, Leila Kruse and Lois Wellman all of Syracuse.

He was preceded in death by his Parents.

Memorial services will be held Monday, July 17 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's UCC in Syracuse. Private family burial will be at Park Hill cemetery at a later date.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 16 from 10 A.M. until 3 P.M. with family greeting friends from 1-3 P.M. at the funeral home.
