Kenneth was born May 12, 1916, in Dunbar, Nebraska, to John & Elizabeth (Lotter) Gorton. He passed away, on November 6, 2010, at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital, Syracuse, NE, at the age of 94 years, 5 months, and 25 days.

Kenny married Constance (Connie) Irland, on December 31, 1938, in Rockport, Missouri. He survived in the United States Army, and worked as a Plaster/Drywall Contractor, was a member of St. John's Luthean Church Council, the Masonic Lodge in Otoe, NE, and loved to hunt & fish.

Kenny is survived by his children, Howard and wife Joan Hunter of Omaha, NE; Jerry and wife Dee Gorton of Hutchison, KS; Jon and wife Prudy Gorton of Syracuse, NE 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews

Funeral Services will be Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at 2:00 PM, at St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, NE, with burial at the Otoe Cemetery. Family Suggests Memorials to St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, NE
