Kenneth L. Johnson was born on February 8, 1932 in Jefferson County, Iowa to Frank and Anna (Gustason) Johnson. He departed this life on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Golden Living Center in Plattsmouth.

Kenny grew up in Iowa and later married Dorothy L. Calhoun on June 20, 1965 in Rockford, IL. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard during the mid 1950's and worked in a variety of job's over the years.

He is survived by his Daughters: Susie Long of Bellevue, NE; Kathy Jensen and husband Larry of Plattsmouth, NE; Tammy Graber and husband Sheldon of Clive, IA; Son: John Messer and wife Linda of Memphis, TN. 10 Grandchildren: Pam Jensen, Shane Jensen and wife Jenny, John Jenkins, Ron Jenkins, Rhonda Seger and husband Brandon, John Messer, Aaron Messer, Christopher Messer, Mikayla Graber and Spencer Graber 20 Great Grandchildren. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by hisParents, Wife, Dorothy Johnson, Daughter, Vickie Wilson, Grandsons, David Garmoe & Sean Jensen, Brother, Virgil Johnson

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 28th at 11:00 A.M. at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home Chapel in Plattsmouth with Rev. Michael McGregor officiating.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th from 1:00 until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
