Kenneth C. Yearsley was born on June 20, 1927 in Nebraska City, Nebraska to George D. and Theresa (Wirth) Yearsley. He passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at the St. Elizabeth Regional Medical Center in Lincoln. Nebraska at the age of 79 years, 7 months and 23 days.

He was united in marriage to Donna Jean Tiede in Nebraska City, NE. He farmed in the area near Otoe, Nebraska. Kenneth was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Nebraska City and a former member of the Nebraska City Elks Club #1049.

He is survived by his daughter, Donita Sintek and husband Larry of Lincoln, NE; 2 grandchildren, Lance Sintek and wife Shannon of Gretna, NE; Renee Shafer and special friend Michael Christiansen of Richmond, VA, 2 great grandchildren, Paige and Tanner of Richmond, VA; sister, Barbara Yearsley of Dunbar, NE, brother, Earl Yearsley of Dunbar, NE; sister-in-law, Jo Yearsley of Syracuse, NE and Janis Haase and husband Fred of Houston, TX, 4 step grandchildren, Cindy Wimer, Jeanine Johnson, Blake Sintek, Todd Sintek, 4 step great grandchildren, Lateaf King, Grand & Megan Johnson, J.R. Weiss; special friend, Goldiene Knickman of Syracuse, NE. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Donna Jean Yearsley, and brother Arnold Yearsley.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Nebraska City, Nebraska with Rev. Jeff Kelley officiating.

Interment will be in the Wyuka Cemetery in Nebraska City, Nebraska.

Visitation will be held at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral Home on Thursday, February 15th from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Friday, February 16th from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

The family suggests memorials be given to the family's choice.
