Kevin R. Schrenk, 62 of Greenwood, passed away at his home on May 16, 2025. He was born on October 31, 1962, in Portland, Oregon to Alfred & Evangelyn (Eichele) Schrenk. A hardworking and self-made man, Kevin built his life from the ground up. He was the proud owner of KRS Inc., a concrete business, and later founded Mid States Trucking. His entrepreneurial spirit, determination, and tireless work ethic earned him the respect of many.

Kevin enjoyed growing up on his parents farm and especially enjoyed the tractors. He also loved bringing people together and was known for his love of cooking, and incredible brisket. Kevin was happiest being around his children and grandchildren and driving his truck. His sense of humor, boundless generosity, and devotion to family defined who he was.

He is survived by his children: Josh Schrenk, Amanda Russell, Matt Schrenk and his significant other Corrine Thompson, and Amy Schrenk; grandchildren: Vanessa Schrenk, Isaac Schrenk, Alaina Robles, Monica Robles, Theodore Russell, Cecilia Russell, Amiya Schrenk, Harper Thompson, Jemma Schrenk, Isabella Vocu, Bailey Vocu, and Danilo Vocu; brother Lorren Schrenk, sister Shelly Schaffer, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Lynette, and his nephew Brandon.

Services are pending and will be announced at a later date. Burial will take place in South Dakota.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
