Kynaston "Ken" E. Reed, 88 of Louisville, passed away on September 1, 2022, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He was born on July 31, 1934, to Charles & Mayburn (Humphreville) Reed in Springfield, MO. Ken honorably served his country in the Navy during the Korean Conflict. The love of Ken's life was Barbara "Bobbie" Hayes, and they made their life together for 53 years. He worked in Lincoln as a bindery worker.

Ken enjoyed being busy and always had projects to work on. He enjoyed puzzles, mowing, tinkering in the garage, working in his flower and vegetable gardens, and salvaging metal to sell. Ken also loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren and taking care of those he loved.

He is survived by Bobbie; children Gary (Lori), Tricia (Rob), Renee; grandchildren Brandon, Holley, Melissa, Natalie, Taylor & Kody; great grandchildren Andrew, Carter, Elyse, Taelyn, Remi & Lucy and beloved dogs Scruffy & Ollie.

He was preceded in death by his parents and son Danny.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2023 at 2:30 PM at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home Chapel in Louisville, NE with Rev. Dean McPherson Officating.
