LANDON JAMES SHRADER

Landon James Shrader, 1, passed away in his parents loving arms at their home in Manhattan, Kansas on June 17, 2014 after a lengthy illness.

He was born on April 16, 2013 in Manhattan, Kansas the son of Trent and Karen (Miner) Shrader.

Landon will forever be remembered by his nickname, "Little Goat" and for his love of being outside. He felt comfort in hearing his mom's voice and in feeling his dad's heartbeat. In life, Landon was a little afraid of the dark, but with the Lord he will forever be in the loving glow of eternal light.

Along with his mom and dad, he is survived by his maternal grandparents: Jim & Denise Miner; paternal grandparents: Kurk & Kristyn Shrader; maternal great grandparents: Elaine & Bart Blair; paternal great-grandfathers: Richard Meyer and Charles Shrader; aunts and uncles: Jim, Liz & Jamee Miner, Brandon & Mikaela Collins and cousins: Sophie Collins, Jamison Miner and Kayden Miner.

The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday June 19, 2014 at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home 1616 Poyntz Avenue, Manhattan, Kansas.

A visitation will be from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday June 20, 2014 at the Disciples of Christ Christian Church, Elmwood, NE.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday June 21, 2014 at the Disciples of Christ Christian Church. Private internment will be in the Elmwood Cemetery, Elmwood, NE at a later time.
