Larry Ray Sitorius, 74, of Louisville, Nebraska, formerly of Gothenburg, passed from his earthly body on June 25, 2024 at Bergen Mercy Hospital in Omaha with his family by his side.

Larry was born July 29, 1949 in Gothenburg to Alvin and Lucille Sitorius.  He lived in Brady until the early 1960s when he moved to Gothenburg.  He married Cheryl Anne Hawkins in August of 1971, and farmed and ranched in the Callaway area until his retirement in 2021, when he moved to Louisville.

Larry knew Jesus as his Savior and has gone to be with Him in Paradise.  Throughout his life, Larry studied the Bible, was an active member of area churches, and gave time generously to support future generations in their growth in the faith through his work with AWANA and the Gideons International.  If you knew him well, you knew of his faith and his desire for everyone to know about the gift of salvation.

Larry is survived by his wife, Cheryl; his four children, Tami (Brian) Richmeier, Lindsay (Tom) Clements, Daniel (Ashley) Sitorius, and Emily (Jeremy) Hayes; grandchildren Isaac, Chase, Emma, Reagan, Rae, Kathryn, and Riley; siblings Lyle, Clayton, and Bev; and many nieces and nephews.  Larry was known for his straightforward, kind, wise counsel and his support for his children and grandchildren in all of their endeavors.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 29th, at the Crossroads Bible Church outside Manley, Nebraska.  Burial to follow in the Riverview Cemetery in Louisville.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at Fusselman-Allen-Harvey Funeral Home in Louisville, with family present 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
