Lenore W. Schroeder was born on September 18, 1910 to Fred & Caroline (Niebrugge) Paulsen. She passed away on March 31, 2012 at the Community Memorial Hospital at the age of 101 years, 6 months and 13 days.

Lenore married Carl Schroeder in 1928 in Syracuse, NE. To this union they had one son Keith. After Carl's death she married Glen Schroeder. Lenore worked in the grocery business all of her life. Carl and her owned a grocery store in Table Rock for many years.
She later moved to Lincoln and continued to work in grocery stores.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Syracuse, Delivered Meals on Wheels for 22 years and loved to quilt at the church. She enjoyed traveling and taking many family trips and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lenore had a fabulous sense of humor and a very quick wit. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her Son Keith Schroeder of Nebraska City, NE, Grandson: Rick Schroeder (Rene) of Rapid City, SD, Granddaughter: Tammra Kuzu (Mustafa) of Dallas, TX, Great Grandchildren: Kyla Schroeder of Dallas, TX, Kandra Schroeder of Plano, TX, Niece: Sandie Caldwell (Larry) of Lincoln, NE, Numerous Great Nieces & Nephews

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husbands, and Sister: Frieda Wurtz

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday April 4, 2012 at 10 A.M. at the United Methodist Church in Syracuse, NE with Rev. Jeff Adams officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday April 3 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 6 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Park Hill Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to the Syracuse Rescue Squad.
