Obituary

LEONARD ALVIN FOURNELL the second son of Leonard and Evelyn Fournell born
November 24 1940 succumbed peacefully, from cancer, on September 28 2009.

He received his education at Syracuse Ne. He continued his education at both the
University of Nebraska and San Diego State.

After serving his country in the U S Navy he was trained as a photo copier tech,
this was when the photo copy machines were first appearing on the market, He
then moved to a different career field.,the food industry.

In this career he was highly accomplished. He started with the Kettle restaurants where he progressed from unit manger to a director over a five state
area. He also worked for Wendys, Perkins Restaurants, and Burger King where he was able improve both the quality of the food and the service, which lead to
increased profits for these companies. He also did a stint at the Syracuse Steak House.

In 1998 he again changed his career field to Real Estate, he received his Brokers license and he continued in this field until his death.

He was a people person, as he was always smiling, which sometimes earned him the nickname "Smiley", he was passionate about football and horses. When ever he could, he would have horses. Being an avid horseman he was a member of the Sheriffs Posse and trained the Junior Demonstration Team. He will be missed by his many friends and relatives.

He leaves behind Fran, his brothers, Bill and wife Margaret(Union City Ca.), Dave (Gulfport M s), Nephews,Goeffery, Andrew, and Matthew , Niece Cristine
(Silva), also Jessica, Kimberly her daughter Scout, great nephews Cole, Sam, Jake and Leo, great niece Angelina

Visitation will be Wednesday, October 9, 2009, from (9:00 A M to 1:00 P M) at the Fusselman-Wymore Funeral
Home 644 Park St. Syracuse. Services will be Wednesday, October 9, 2009 at 1:00 P M, at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, with interment at Park
Hill Cemetery
