Leonard F. Stohlmann
Born February 26, 1923 on a farm in rural Louisville Nebraska to Fredrick & Lydia (Neumann) Stohlmann. He was Baptized and Confirmed at Immanuel Lutheran Church and continued to be a lifelong member.
He attended College Hill Elementary, Manley Public School through 10th Grade and graduated at Weeping Water High School.
Leonard was drafted into the Army during WWII & served in the Pacific Theater. When he returned home he married Marie Rahn of Papillion Nebraska & started farming of which he did until his death. They just recently celebrated their 62nd Wedding Anniversary on February 15th. Of this Union were born 5 children & blessed with 13 grandchildren.
He was a lifetime resident of Manley and served on the Manley School Board, Manley Co-op Board, Rural Fire Board & Cemetery Board. Along with farming he managed livestock with his trusty 4 wheeler. He & Marie went on trips to Alaska & Australia & the Orient. In his later years he enjoyed fishing & spending time with his grandkids.
Survived by Wife Marie who is currently residing in the Louisville Care Center.

He passed away at home at the age of 87 Years 2 Months 15 Days.
Funeral Services 10:30 Saturday, 5-15-10, at Immanuel Lutheran Church, rural Louisville, Nebraska, with burial at the Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 until 9 P.M. Friday, 5-14-10, with family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. all at the Funeral Home.
