Obituary

Leota Lorraine Stillahn, 91, of Syracuse, Neb., died Monday, May 17, 2010, at Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse. Born January 3, 1919 in Custer County, Neb. to Alfred R. Hustig and Ruby E. Klein. She married Herman Stillahn February 5, 1941. She was a homemaker/farm wife. She enjoyed helping Herman with the farming operation and was a good cook and was a Yodeler.

Near Relatives Surviving: Son, Wayne Stillahn of Shenandoah, Iowa; Grandchildren, Robert Bauer and wife Jennifer of Topeka, Kan.; Edgar Bauer and Tracey Nisely of Charlotte, N.C.; Sisters-in-law, Marian Hustig of California and Phyllis Hustig of Omaha. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Herman Stillahn, daughter Anna Marie Bauer, two brothers and a sister.

Funeral service Friday, May 21, 2010, at 10:30 a.m., Christ Lutheran Church (Delaware), Rural Syracuse. Officiating, Rev. Glatha Rathjen. Burial, Christ Lutheran Cemetery (Delaware), Rural Syracuse, NE. Family Suggests Memorials To Christ Lutheran Church or Cemetery (Delaware).
