Les H. Hlavac, 74 of Louisville, passed away on June 11, 2021 in Omaha. He was born on December 3, 1946 to Harold & Fern (Tlustos) Hlavac in Omaha.
Les married Ruth Fischer on August 2, 1969 in Elmwood. He taught as an industrial arts (shop) teacher for over 40 years. Les also worked for Pankonin Implement for over 60 years. He served on the fire dept., rescue squad and was an avid trap shooter.
He is survived by his wife: Ruth Hlavac; daughter: Christina (Mark) Jenson; grandson: Jesse Jenson; siblings: Dean (Deb) Hlavac, Donn (Jane) Hlavac, Mary (Allen) Simpson; also many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 15 at 10 A.M. at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Elmwood. Burial will follow at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 14 from 1 P.M. until 8 P.M. at the funeral home in Louisville with a rosary at 7 P.M.
Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
