Linda K. Pierce, age 74, of Elmwood, Nebraska, passed away at the Lancaster Rehab Center in Lincoln, NE on January 15, 2022. Linda was born in Jackson County, Missouri on November 16, 1947 to Cecil and Mary Bell (Howard) Smith.

After graduating high school, Linda married Jerry Smith, Sr. in 1968. To their union they had two sons, Jerry and Jeffrey. Later in life she married Elbert Pierce on December 14, of 1996 in Elmwood, NE.

She loved to read, listen to country music, and work on puzzle books. She loved her family and enjoyed being able to watch her granddaughter grow up. She especially loved hearing about all of Brianna's accomplishments. Linda had a strong relationship with the Lord and has found peace with her savior in Heaven.

Linda is survived by her two sons, Jerry Lee Smith, Jr., Lincoln, NE and Jeffrey (Anita) Smith of Olathe, KS, one granddaughter, Brianna Jane Smith of Olathe, KS, two siblings, sister Shirley Murray of Odessa, MO, and brother, Cecil (Dee) Noble Smith, Jr. of Reno, NV, as well as four nieces, one nephew, and several great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and her husband.

Services for Linda will be held Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 2:00 PM at the Greenwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be directed to the family for future designation.
