Linda A. Proplesch, 80 of Otoe, passed away on July 25, 2023 at her home. She was born on May 27, 1943 to Frank & Alice (Wilke) Vaad in Omaha. Linda married Robert Proplesch on August 3, 1962.

Linda worked at Principle Financial Group for many years as a secretary. She loved being outdoors and you could often find her gardening, fishing or bird watching. During the fall, she always found time to cheer on her favorite football team, the Huskers. The family wishes to give their heartfelt thanks to Tabitha Hospice and All About Family for their kind and compassionate care of Linda the last few weeks.

She is survived by her sons John (Angela) Proplesch, Bruce (Lynn) Proplesch, Kirk (Susan Allright) Proplesch; grandchildren Cory, Cody, Casey & Colton Proplesch, Brandon Proplesch, Chloe (Gary Smith) Grabanski, Megan (Matt) Waite, Brooklyn (Skylar) Proplesch; great grandchildren Oliver & Vivian Waite; also many nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Robert, grandson Skyler Proplesch, brothers Bruce & Ron Vaad.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
