Lois M. Liesemeyer, 91 of Syracuse, passed away on January 20, 2017 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on April 30, 1925 in Syracuse to Walter & Amanda (Holscher) Miesbach.

Lois married Virgil Liesemeyer on November 20, 1947 at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church in Syracuse. She helped Virgil on the farm and also worked at Community Memorial Hospital in Syracuse as a Nurses Aid and then in Cardiac Rehab and Central Supply. She was active in the VFW 5547 Auxiliary and at Luther Memorial as a Sunday school teacher and chairman for funerals. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and gardening. She loved mowing and was proud of how her acreage looked.

Lois is survived by her Children: Bruce (Teresa) Liesemeyer, Arlan (Nancy) Liesemeyer, Joyce (Mike) Thomas, Morris (Connie) Liesemeyer, Craig Liesemeyer; Daughter-in-law: Linda Liesemeyer; 11 Grandchildren; 15 Great Grandchildren; Brother: Arlo (Irma) Miebach; Sisters-in-law: Barb Miesbach & Kay Bremer.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son: Keith Liesemeyer; Sister & Brother-in-law: Janice & Bill Witty; Brothers: Theodore Miesbach & Ralph Miesbach.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 24 ^th at 10:30 A.M. at Luther Memorial Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Park Hill cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 23 from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. at the funeral home, then at the church from 5-9 with family greeting friends from 6-8 P.M.

Memorials are suggested to the family's choice.
