Lon E. Jensen, 55 of Syracuse, passed away on October 17, 2022, at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha. He was born on September 1, 1967, to Tom & Sharon (Kuehl) Jensen in Omaha. Lon attended SCC in Milford for drafting.

Lon started working for Engineering, Automation, and Design in Omaha as a drafter and was currently a project manager. He had a great love of rodeoing and was active on the Otoe County Fair Board. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and could always be found with a Diet Mt. Dew in his hand.

He is survived by his sons Cody Jensen & Austin (Tessa) Jensen both of Syracuse; parents Tom & Sharon Jensen of Papillion, brothers Randy (Christina) Sump of Papillion, Tommy Jr. (Stephanie) Jensen of Wichita, KS, Lee Jensen of Fremont; also numerous nieces & nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 21 from 4-6 p.m. at the Kimmel Event Center in Syracuse.
