Loretta Sporhase was born June 27, 1925, in Rural Diller Nebraska, to John and Sophia (Knuppel) Lange. She passed away Friday January 22, 2010, at the Good Samaritan Center, in Syracuse, Nebraska, at the age of 84 years.

Loretta married Elmer Sporhase, on February 8, 1948, at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church, of Diller, Nebraska. She worked form many years as a Seamstress at the Former Pendleton's in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Loretta was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Otoe, NE

Loretta is survived by 2 brothers Walter Lange, of Blue Springs, NE, and Maynard Lange, of Ovid Colorado, sister Lorene Bethke, of Davenport, NE, also survived by many other nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

Loretta is preceded in death by her parents, husband Elmer, 2 sisters Della & Janet, brother-in-law Albert Sporhase, Harold Bethke, and sisters-in-law Doris & Wilma

Visitation will be Tuesday, January 26, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., & Wednesday, January 27, from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M., and the Casket will be Open One Hour befor Church Services.

Funeral Service wil be Thursday, January 28th, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church, of Otoe, Nebraska, with burial at Park Hill Cemetery, Syracuse, Nebraska.
