Lorraine was born July17, 1922, in Irvington, Nebraska to Rudolph and Zulma (Decock) Vervaecke. She entered into heavenly rest on Friday December 12, 2008, at the Louisville Care Center at the age of 86 years, 4 month, and 25 days.

Lorraine married Herbert Keckler, on January 19, 1946, in Plattsmouth, Nebraska, and to this union they raised 4 children, Marilyn, Carolyn, Cheryl, and Garry. She worked for Western Electric for 25 years. She also worked for the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Home for many years. Lorraine loved Bowling, Country Music, Bingo, Fishing at their Cabin in Minnesota, and Playing Cards like Pitch, and Pinnacle and animals, like her Dog "Lady". She was a people person and enjoyed visiting with people of any age.

Lorraine is survived by her son Garry Keckler and wife Terri, of Arlington, TX, daughters - Cheryl Weitzman and husband Howard, of Papillion, NE, Carolyn Falcone and husband Steve, of Louisville, NE, and Marilyn Plowman and husband Dale, of Manley, 15 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchildren, brothers - George Vervaecke, of Louisville, NE, and Cyril Vervaecke and wife Darlene, of South Bend, NE, many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents, husband Herbert, and brother Maurice.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, December 16th, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Fusselman Wymore Funeral Chapel, 413 Elm, Louisville, Nebraska with burial at the Glendale Cemetery. Family Suggest Memorials to Family's Choice.

Visitation: Monday from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. with the family greeting friends from 6 until 8 P.M. all at the funeral home.
