Lottie Mae Blumberg, 99, of Syracuse, Nebraska passed away on January 7, 2014 at the Syracuse Community Memorial Hospital. She was born to George & Edith (Bray) Kramer in Syracuse, Nebraska.

Lottie Mae married Clarence "Butch" Blumberg on March 5, 1936 near Syracuse, Nebraska. She worked for many years at the drug store in Syracuse. She was a member at St. John's UCC Church, Ladies Aid, VFW Auxiliary and the extension club. She volunteered at the Otoe County Fair for many years. Lottie Mae also enjoyed bowling, quilting, playing cards and sewing.

Lottie Mae is survived by her Granddaughter Dee & husband Ron Metzger of Omaha, Great Grandchildren: Brett & wife Mary Metzger; Kristen & husband Nick Niver both of Omaha, 4 Great Great Grandchildren, Son-in-law: Allan Young of Syracuse, many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband Clarence, Daughter Carol Young, Granddaughter Annette Hahne, and 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 11, 2014 at 10:30 at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse, NE.

Private family burial will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to the family's choice.

Visitation will be held on Friday January 10 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. at the funeral home.
