Lucile E. Laughlin, 99 of Elmwood, passed away on February 28, 2018 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on August 29, 1918 to Louis & Mahala (Richardson) Crile in Vesta, NE.

Lucile married Wallace C. Laughlin on August 29, 1937. She owned and operated Wally's Grocery Store in Elmwood with her husband.

She is survived by her daughters: Marilyn (Leroy) Timm, Phyllis Thierstein, Linda Howe; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Per Lucile's request, private family services will be held at a later date.
