Lucille E. Fisk Kreifels, 93 of Syracuse, passed away on September 3, 2022, at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Center. She was born on January 14, 1929, to H. August & Edith M. (Poppe) Niemann in Cook. Lucille graduated from Cook High School in 1946.

On January 16, 1949, she married Darrel B. Fisk. After Darrel passed away in 1978, Lucille married Harlan H. Kreifels on May 17, 1980. Lucille worked as a meat inspector for Campbell Soup in Tecumseh. She was an active member of St. John's UCC, where she quilted and belonged to Women's Fellowship. Lucille also was a member of the Bells of Mount Hope and volunteered for the Hospital Auxiliary in Syracuse.

She is survived by her children Nancy Freye of Martell, Shirley (Michael) Knarr of Santa Fe, NM, Dean (Carol) Fisk of Syracuse; step children Carol Jean (Jim) Thoms of Lincoln, Kent (Sue) Kreifels of Syracuse, Kevan (Cindy) Kreifels of Lincoln, Kelly (Mary) Kreifels of Cook, Kay Lynn (Mike) Koch of Gretna, Craig (Jennifer) Kreifels of Syracuse, Kim (Mark) Nelson of Ceresco; 7 grandchildren; 17 step grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; 33 step great grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands Darrel Fisk & Harlan Kreifels, son Don Fisk; siblings & spouses Melda (Harvey) Sudman, Eldred (Sally) Niemann; son-in-law Roger Freye and step great grandson Owen Klein.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 8 at 11:00 a.m. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse. The service will be livestreamed on the Fusselman Facebook page. Burial will follow at the Park Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 7 from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. with family greeting friends from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home in Syracuse.

Memorials are suggested to the family for later designation.
