Lucille M. Wesemann of Syracuse, NE formerly of Cook, NE was born on April 11, 1927 in Steinauer, Nebraska to Fred & Anna (Hothan) Baucke. She passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at the Syracuse Good Samaritan Society in Syracuse, NE at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 23 days.
Lucille married William Wesemann on December 14, 1957 at the United Church of Christ Maple Grove. To this union they had 2 daughters Karen and Lori. Lucille worked as a farmwife and also a long time school bus driver for Nemaha Valley.
Lucille was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Cook. She loved quilting, sewing, gardening, crafts especially ceramics and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed cheering on her Atlanta Braves. Bill and Lucille were blessed with celebrating their 50th anniversary with all their family in December, 2007.
Lucille is survived by her daughters Karen (Gary Sr.) Cheloha, of Lincoln, NE, Lori Wesemann, of Lincoln, NE, grandchildren Jennifer (Steve) Boothe, Gary (Michelle) Cheloha Jr, Amy Cheloha, Anne Cheloha, Ross Cheloha, Adam Cheloha, 7 great grandchildren, sister-in-law Lorene (Dewey) Dahl, brother LaVerne Baucke, and many special nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Bill, brother Kenneth Baucke, nephew Terry Rosenthal, brother-in-law Carl Wesemann, and brother-in-law & sister-in-law Martin & Edna Rosenthal
Funeral Services will be Monday, August 6, 2012 at 10:30 A.M. at the Grace Lutheran Church in Cook, Nebraska with Rev. Jim Helgren officiating.
Burial will be at the Grace Lutheran Cemetery in Rural Cook, NE. The family suggests memorials to the Families Choice.
Visitation will be on Sunday August 5, 2012 from 9 A.M. until 9 P.M. and the family will be at the Funeral Home on Sunday from 5 until 7 P.M. to greet friends.
