Luella Elizabeth Stock was born on June 21, 1908 in rural Cook, Nebraska to Jacob and Emma (Bentzinger) Specht. She passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, Nebraska at the age of 99 years.

She was united in marriage on October 20, 1927 to Charles Stock at St. Paul's United Church of Christ (Osage) in rural Cook, Nebraska. She was a member of the
Goldenrod Extension Club, Women's Fellowship Group at Osage and Syracuse, V.F.W. Auxillary of Syracuse, Women Federation Club of Syracuse, Hospital Auxillary, Served for 8 years as Treasurer for the Quilters Group. She was also a member of the Senior Citizens Center and A.A.R.P. Chapter of Nebraska City.

She is survived by her Son: Dale Stock and wife Joyce of Murray, NE; Daughter: Jeanette Kraenow and husband Gene Kraenow of Syracuse, NE; 3 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 1 Great Great Grandson 3 Step Grandchildren, 5 Step Great Grandchildren, 1 Step Great Great Granddaughter, 1 Step Great Great Grandson. 1 Great Great Great Grandson. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in Death by her Parents,Husband, Charles Stock, Brother: Clarence Specht, Sisters: Dora Biggs, Lillie Grundman, Sister-in-law: Elsie Mehlhop, Brother-in-law: Henry Grundman.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, September 21, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse, Nebraska with Rev. John Finster officiating.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 19th from 2:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and Thursday, September 20th from 9:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Burial will be in the St. Paul's UCC Cemetery in Rural Cook, Nebraska.
