Lydia Goering was born on March 1, 1910 in Burr, Nebraska to Henry and Anna (Poppe) Eisenhauer. She passed away on Thursday, January 24, 2008 at the Good Samaritan Center in Syracuse, NE at the age of 97 years.

She is survived by her sons: Gerald Goering and wife Pat of Syracuse, NE; Keith Goering and wife Marie of Syracuse, NE; daughter: Ardyth Gramlich and husband Bill of Fort Morgan, CO; 9 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, 11 Great Great Grandchildren, brother, Emil Eisenhauer of Syracuse, NE; sister-in-law: Irene Eden Eisenhauer of Syracuse. She is also survived by many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband William Goering.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 1:00 P.M. at Park Hill Cemetery in Syracuse, NE. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 26th at 2:00 P.M. at St. John's United Church of Christ in Syracuse, NE with Rev. John Finster officiating.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 25th from 3:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5:30 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

Memorial may be given in lieu of flowers to Syracuse Organizations or the Family's Choice.
