Lynene Rae (Lenker) Meyer, 69 of Malcolm, NE passed away on Feb. 28 at home surrounded by family. She was born on Oct. 15, 1944 to Reed & Bernice (Hillman) Lenker.

Lynene married Max R. Meyer on Nov. 2, 1962 in Dunbar, NE. She owned and operated Ole's Shoe Repair shop in Lincoln with her husband Max. She was a past officer and was on the scholarship board of the State Snowmobile association, and was voted snowmobiler of the year. Lynene was very active in church and in the ladies aid. She belonged to the P&B Card Club. She enjoyed golfing, flower gardening and loved being a grandmother.

She is survived by her husband Max Meyer of Malcolm; mother Bernice Lenker of Syracuse; children Randy (Julie) Meyer, Rodney (Rose) Meyer, Jennifer (Scott) Battles all of Malcolm; grandchildren Danielle, Ashlynne, Ryan, Caitlin, Megan, Grant, Max, Scarlett; sister Janene (Dwayne) Bartels; brother John (Suzi) Lenker, sister-in-law Linda Lenker.

She was preceded in death by her father Reed and brother Lanny Lenker.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday March 4, at 10:30 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Malcolm. Interment will be in Malcolm cemetery.

Visitation will be held on Mon. March 3 from 3 P.M. until 9 P.M. with family greeting friends from 5 until 7 P.M. at the funeral home in Syracuse.
